"I will take back whole Kashmir" says Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party and Central Executive Committee. He is the only son of former President Asif Ali Zardari and former Prime Minister
Benazir Bhutto.

The third generation Bhutto declared that he will take back every inch of Kashmir. Kashmir is staple of populism of many Pakistan leaders, and the Bhutto's have turned it into a theatrical declamation.

" I will take back Kashmir, all of it, and I will not leave behind a single inch of it because, like other provinces, it belongs to Pakistan."

This comment became viral on internet. Lets go back to the history and find out what exactly happened at the time of independence.

Kashmir Conflict..

It started in 1947, when it was asked whether it want to be a part of India or Pakistan. Maharaja Hari singh, ruler of Kashmir, was hindu while most of his subjects were muslim. Unable to decide which nation Kashmir should join, he chose to remain neutral. But his hopes of remaining independent were dashed as Pakistan seny in muslim tribesmen who were knocking at the gates of the capital Srinagar.

Hari singh appealed to the Indian government for military assistance and fled to India. He signed the Instrument of Accession, ceding Kashmir to India.

Lets come back to present and analyse ourselves.
